Circus of the Cursed

Decade's Past was rather a quiet town at first, but in the long centuries it became rather popular. The town was actually built upon an old battle ground. Many wars were held here, the rivers turned to red with the blood that flowed through them. The place was nothing more than a burial ground at first. Many of the graves were unmarked so that you could not tell one grave from another.

The burial ground was demolished in favor of building a town. The town seemed perfect it was close by a deep and wide river with which they could trade goods and slaves with other parts of the world. Little did they know of what they had awoken by destroying the burial ground.

A few years had passed before strange things started happening. Animals, people and other things were going missing never to be seen again. People even thought that there was a plague that had spread to all the livestock that they had, and that perhaps people were getting sick and dying from these strange causes. They stopped the building on the burial ground and decided that it would be best to just leave the sacred ground be. However this only started again, when a certain traveling circus came into town.

Innocent lives were being taken away, corrupted. The once beautiful city was just becoming another burial ground. Most of the town was destroyed. Everyone within the circus seemed to be unharmed by the mysterious disease that started to spread all over again. Some say that they worshiped the devil in order to remain untouched.

Creatures were being bred here. Vampires, werewolves and ghosts were now running rampant in the city. But after a while they were not the only things to show. Angels, demons and a number of other creatures showed their ugly faces. The one young man came out from the crowed and he became known as the Ringleader. He had decided to take this curse and travel around the globe, thinking that perhaps others could learn how to control their curse, and to maybe teach others.

Only a handful of each race stayed behind, living like humans, trying to reclaim the life that they once had. They had even started to rebuild the city. To this day the curcus is used as not only a form of entertainment but as a school to train those to control their hunger, and to learn how to use their powers.
